Paragon Item Design Last Chance!

News  December 05,2012  0 Comments

As we’ve already mentioned in the Paragon Design Dev Journal, we are phasing out the Design-an-item extra from the Paragon pack on the 5th of December at 11:59 PM. After many awesome designs from our wonderful Paragons, we’re sorry to say that it won’t be available anymore very soon, so get it while you still can! (Like…right now)

However, before that, now that almost all of the current Paragon designed items have been implemented, we’re going to show you three of them soon. This is just a small portion of all items, and we’ll be posting more of them later on, but the first three are:

The crazy deaths-head Engine Scimitar; Metal Head

The sleek and powerful Rin Insomnia Rifle!

The Von Foust Industries designed Fist Shield!

As a Paragon, you of course get the item you’ve designed from the very start so you can show off everyone that that item is yours, you also get other great stuff, but we all know that your own personal design is what you really want.

And even though these designs set are fantastic, we know that you, your friends and/or your family have some great ideas boiling in those heads of heads of yours.  So get the Paragon level collaborator pack (or gift it to your friends or family) to become a permanent part of City of Steam. You of course get the item you’ve designed from the very start so you can show off everyone that it’s yours, you also get 10 beta keys to give out to the people you want to play with, a poster signed by us, a special pet, the role-playing book series the game is based on “The new Epoch”, a special forum title, a custom avatar and an in-game crown! That, and whatever pack you get, you get that amount of Electrum back in Open Beta, so it’s a good way to prepare yourself for its launch!

On the why; As we’re getting closer to the launch of City-of-steam, we need to focus more and more on getting the game ready for release; as we’re not a huge team, ESPECIALLY for an online game of this size, this means we need all hands on deck.

So spread it around, the final hours of the Design-an-item have arrived, what were your favorite items and which would you like to see as a 3d model on the site?
